HOW the ‘CARMEN SANDIEGO’ GAME WORKS
Teams follow a series of clues hidden in the city to track down the infamous master thief Carmen Sandiego before she escapes with one of Melbourne’s most iconic treasures. The first team to find and arrest Carmen wins the game.
One clue will be given at the start. Players must locate the game characters hidden throughout the city and interact with them. Teams have four hours to complete the game
This game was held before, on August 27 2010 as the ‘Where In Melbourne Is Carmen Sandiego?’ 2010 event. Players who have attended this event will be familiar with the format of the game, but all the clues and locations are entirely new.
Instructions for the game will be explained in full at the Sign-Up / Marshalling Area on the day.
GAME START LOCATION
Swanston Street (corner Latrobe)
All team members must be signed in and present before the game begins.
Each team needs a Team Captain who can be contacted by mobile phone by the organisers during the game (e.g. if a road gets blocked all players will be texted an alternate game route).
