THE PARADE OF ALL NATIONS

THE LEGEND OF THE WINTERVALK

Emissaries from all the different realms and faraway lands sent their representatives to meet peacefully in an open field. Creatures who had once met only on the battlefield now came together in friendship to build alliances of understanding, and to build peaceful futures for their children, and the prosperity of all.

In the spirit of forging new friendships they shared stories of their homelands and heroes, played the music of their most beloved celebrations and taught to each other the dances of their peoples.

The emissaries showed each other the crafts and artistry of their species, brought gifts to share and goods to trade.

The meeting of All Nations was done in winter so that all creatures could see that even during the darkest times when survival was its most difficult, they could still flourish and find strength in each other.

The different creatures of the various races and species, all proudly wearing their most beautiful and impressive ceremonial robes, then walked together as one in a great procession.  The parade symbolized the fact that though each creature and its customs were different, each of those differences was celebrated and valued, and though they all came from different places across the world they all walked as one toward a common goal - a great hope for the future, in growth as individuals, exploration of the wonders of existence.

Walking together, all nations were stronger.

This was the beginning of Wintervalk.
